First published in 1868, New York. There is not an industrial designer, machinist, woodworker, farmer or handyman who would not benefit from this book. It is impossible to read it without realizing where you could use one of the mechanisms in it. Although later books of this type included many more movements, this one was the first and still has the best selection. It illustrates the movements that made the Industrial Revolution possible.
