Axminster Folding Stand with Work Supports
The Axminster Folding Stand with work supports is ideally suited for use with a mitre saw, although it can be used perfectly well with any other bench top machine with a footprint of less than 600 x 480mm, and weighing less than 40kgs. It folds neatly for storage when not in use; with the material supports removed it only occupies a space 940mm high x 110mm deep, so can easily be hung on a wall thereby taking up virtually no space. In use the stand locks securely, with the table top at a convenient 832mm high. The top itself is 16mm thick laminated board 600 x 480mm. The material supports are independently adjustable both horizontally and vertically - measured from the table top, from a minimum of 35mm to a maximum of 280mm high, and the distance between them anywhere from 720mm to 1,375mm, giving excellent support to long workpieces. It has a durable stove enamel finish and is fitted with a handy 420 x 223mm mid-shelf.

"This is a good solid stand at a reasonable price, much safer than balancing the saw on any odd spare surface and the work supports make life easier and safer too. However it does come without assembly instructions, and while assembly should be fairly obvious, the hinged top support nuts have to be fitted inside the tubular legs which does tax ingenuity somewhat."
