Axminster Senior Drum Sander

The Senior Drum Sander with its impressive capacity of 630mm width by 125mm depth can accommodate a wide range of items such as panels, sashes and kitchen doors. It has a rubberised feed belt for feeding panels through without damaging the underside of the panel. The belt is provided with a variable speed control to give good control over the speed of working and standard of finish. There are two aluminium drums onto which the abrasive is spirally wound and secured at the ends with clips and tensioning springs. Fabricated from steel sheet the unit has its own integral floor stand with rise and fall handle conveniently positioned on the top for ease of use. With large diameter feed rollers, double dust extraction outlet and feed motor positioned to the rear of the machine so as to pull the belt rather than push it, the Senior sander is a good choice for all trade applications and some light industrial usage.
