Axminster Universal Protractor

A precision-made adjustable protractor with a multitude of uses in the engineer's and cabinetmaker's workshop. The main rule can be re-positioned to give a working length of up to 230mm and the stock has a length of 60mm. The angle between the two can be set accurately to 5 minutes of arc with the aid of the built-in magnifying glass and the vernier scale. An attachment is provided for the measurement of very acute angles, often a problem with adjustable angle measurers. The whole instrument is made from ground stainless steel and the scale is pearl chrome for ease of reading.
