Good bit of kit..   "Had this saw for a while now and i can honestly say that i am impressed with it..sure there are better ones out there, but at this price, this does do the same job and copes very well with the tasks i have given it. Unbeatable at the price, and some more   "If finances had permitted, I'd have looked to pay more than double this price, but I ignored a puzzling comment about inability to cut hardwoods and invested. It isn't pretty - comparisons to a brick privy spring to mind - but it glides through 35+mm seasoned elm and its weight and feel make me think its as reliable and as big a bargain as any of the White range. Shame the laser runs from batteries. " - Anonymous

good for saw for mdf and ply only   "I purchased this saw for ripping and cross cutting hardwoods at a max depth of 55mm. this saw could not cope with the task. the maximum depth of cut it was able to cope with was about 5mm in hardwoods. however it copes with mdf and ply very well and is is suitably accurate for standard joinery work using mdf and ply. however if you want a an accurate saw that will will cope with hardwoods go for a bigger and more expensive saw. the build quality on saw is slightly better than you would expect from a tool of this price however." - Anonymous
