Axminster AWSL Woodturning Lathe with Extension

A small lathe with five spindle speeds and a 240mm(10") diameter turning capacity, well suited to the newcomer to turning who has a limited budget available and only space enough for a small lathe. The headstock, bed and tailstock are constructed of cast iron and the 375W induction motor has more than enough power for the type of projects likely to be produced on a lathe of this size. One unusual feature is the bed extension piece which comes with the lathe and which can be bolted on to extend the main bed casting and increase the working length to 1088mm between centres. Supplied complete with drive centre, revolving tailstock centre, 80mm diameter faceplate and 150mm(6") tool rest.
