Axminster Wheel Marking Gauge
This variation on the traditional marking gauge has a hardened steel wheel in place of the pin and, as a consequence, is much less likely to follow the grain in the timber. The steel shaft is 180mm(7") long calibrated in mm and 1/16" steps and the body is machined from aluminium with a brass facing and knurled locking screw, is fitted with an internal O-ring to make setting easier.
