Bosch GSS 140A Palm Sander
The Bosch GSS140A is a professional 1/4 sheet palm sander with Easy-Fit System. Even rolls of plain abrasive paper are easy to fit. The sander has an automatic tensioning, revolutionary Easy-Fit system guaranteeing a perfect fit without the paper getting creased or torn. Easy-Fit can use both the Velcro type fastening system and rolls of paper with the same orbital sander: working has never been so flexible. For clean results, the sander is fitted with a Bosch Microfilter giving a perfect mobile dust extraction solution. The Microfilter puts an end to dangerous fine dust as it even filters out microscopic particles 100 times smaller in diameter than a human hair. The large dust capacity allows for long sanding activities without annoying interruptions.

"I bought this as a replacement for a very old Hitachi, which had died. I like palm sanders that can be used comfortably one handed.
My hasn't technology advanced! Love the dust collection, and the clever paper grips (if you don't use the velcro option) work much better than anything I've ever seen. On-off switch a little awkward, but all in all I'm very pleased with this."

Good but fatally flawed
"Sander was working very well and gave good results until the front paper locking mechanism broke after @ 15 hours work. The main pivot is located in a plastic bracket which snapped clean off after brief contact with an edge of a joint. Normally I really like Bosch products but not this one. The velcro option is useless as unless constant contact is maintained the paper vibrates itself off. Unfortunately the warranty expired before it broke.l"
