Axminster AW16BMES Bench Morticer

The AW16BMES is a very sturdy, all cast iron construction morticer for the busy small workshop. Featuring a larger than average table fitted with timber guide rollers and extension wings, a hold down clamp and a rack and pinion controlled back fence giving great control over the timber. A substantial headstock assembly sliding on dovetails on the pillar casting has a 375W motor fitted with a 13mm chuck. The head stroke travel is more than enough for the biggest chisel and the whole head can be rotated through 180 degrees to work over the end of the work bench. This is a fine design that will satisfy the most particular cabinet maker.
