Axminster Heavy Duty Bench with Shelf & Cupboard

This is a traditionally designed beechwood bench intended for use in the larger workshop. The heavy duty 1,900 x 610mm top is 40mm thick and fitted with a 120mm deep apron and has a well at the rear for storing tools. There are two wooden vices equipped with central screws and twin support bars; the front vice is a massive 500mm long and the tail vice is 500mm long by 380mm wide. The tail vice has an offset screw to allow timber to be held vertically between the screw and one of the bars without the vice distorting. There are two dog holes in the tail vice and a further ten in the bench top. The underslung tool storage drawer is 450mm long. The bench is supplied flat packed so home assembly will be required. This is the Heavy Duty Bench (340910) but with the addition of a lockable storage cupboard and two open shelves for storing tools, timber and part-finished projects.
