Koch Felt Honing Wheels

These are the felt wheels fitted to the Creusen Koch sharpening system here available separately. The white medium felt wheel is used for straight or gently curved carving tools and the brown wheel has a unique thermoplastic characteristic which enables it to deform when in use and to take up the shape of more curved tools. The wheels have a diameter of 120mm and a width of 20mm. The 8mm bore can be easily drilled out to suit a motor shaft or power drill arbor. A bar of Koch green soap (approximately 1kg) should be adequate for many years' service. Don't forget that for safety's sake the wheels must rotate such that the top of the wheel moves away from the user.
