Axminster AWC25HP Compressor
The AWC25HP is an economically priced single cylinder oil lubricated unit with a 1.8kW motor, free air delivery @ 40psi - 5.0cfm, @ 90psi - 4.0cfm and a 25 litres tank. It is suitable for a whole range of general workshop uses such as small size nailing and stapling, riveting, greasing, dust blowing, tyre inflation, airbrushing and touch-up spraying. The only jobs which are beyond its capabilities are industrial type nailing, high volume spraying and the use of the larger continuous running tools such as sanders, drills and polishers, all of which will need a more powerful compressor coupled to a larger capacity tank. The outlet is fitted with a 1/4" BSP Female Quick Release fitting.

Great little workhorse
"I've had one of these for a few years now, and it's a great if you don't need a bigger receiver. Being oil lubricated it is also fairly quiet in operation compared to some of the oil free units I looked at. I've used it for inflating, dust blowing, paraffin washing and also with an air chisel with no problems. "

"Really wish I'd bought a compressor years ago - works really well - reasonable size means you can move it around easily. Useful for a multitude of tasks. On the downside - pressure adjustment knob broks - but easy sorted with a screwdriver."

Bit noisy
"Does a good job, at a good price. One thing to note is that it is only 240mm wide with the wheels removed. It is quite noisy, but a powerful pump makes up for this. Runs all of my painting bits and air tools without a problem."
