The analogue read out gives the calculated real level of critical dampness for both concrete and gypsum compounds as well as a comparative 0 to 100 scale. Using low frequency signals from parallel co-planer electrodes, the CME4 can penetrate to 12.5mm simply by close contact with a clean area of the slab, no need to drill or damage the surface in any way.
