Carroll Drum Sanders
A range of three precision made sanding drums incorporating the Carroll patented camlock abrasive paper gripping system. Suitable for mounting directly into any drill press or power drill and available in 3 different diameters, 25mm, 50mm and 75mm. Beautifully made with a rubberised cushion on the outer face for slight give. Standard abrasive material (your own favourite) can be quickly fitted to the sander by simply wrapping the abrasive around the drum and fixing the ends with the Carroll patented holding cam. With a top speed of some 3800rpm the uses and variations are virtually unlimited - sanding profiles, shapes, straight edges etc. With 10mm diameter shanks. Height 75mm, Max speed 3800rpm.

Just the job
"Very good kit. They may seem expensive, but using sheet abrasive rather than sleeves will probably mean I recoup the cost quite quickly. The abrasive is easily changed, and the locking system is very effective in use. The sheet wore through before it came close to coming undone.
Just one thing - if you order, then order some cloth-backed abrasive at the same time.

Buy one now , well worth the price
"wow worth every penny , i considerd buying one for ages now but was a bit put off by the price , but now i have one it's superb , the method in my madness was due to buying a Belt sander a while since with 75mm wide belts , these belts when no good for use on the Belt sander can now be cut down and used on the Carroll Drum sander - cool or what !
great locking Cam action and a breeze to change the sanding sheet - i can see this getting so much use - i'll be buying the 75mm & 25mm next
