Axminster Lip & Spur Bit

Sometimes referred to as dowel drills, these drills are ground with a single centre point and two outer cutting spurs. The centre point means that the bit can be positioned precisely on a previously marked spot before drilling commences and will not walk when the power is switched on. More suitable for drilling natural timbers than manmade materials. Drill diameters above 10mm have shanks reduced to 10mm.
