Epoxy resins are excellent waterproof glues but require accuracy of measurement and clean uncontaminated containers and equipment to ensure good results and maximum strength. West System is designed to provide you with the best ingredients and accessories so that you get the strength and durability you need. Work clean, work well.
Graduated Mixing Pot
Strong and reusable, this 800ml pot is graduated in 50ml divisions to aid with your calculations. When cured the solid epoxy residue will pop out when the pot is flexed leaving it ready for the next mix.
Mixing Sticks
Flat wooden mixing sticks (150mm x 18mm) with rounded ends, just right for mixing and applying small quantities of the glue or epoxy/filler blends. 25 per pack.
Stirrers
For the larger mixes these wooden stirrers (300mm x 27mm) with shaped handles provide the perfect disturbance of the materials to ensure a thorough mixing of the resin/hardener and any filler blend. 5 per pack.
Plastic Squeegee
Flexible but with sufficient resistance to control even quite stiff mixes, these plastic squeegees are excellent for spreading, filling and forming the variety of mixtures that West System can be used to produce. They are reusable, are chamfered or fielded on the two long sides for more sensitive control of the material and are a useful size at 90mm x 150mm. 2 per pack.
Notched Spreaders
For controlled and consistent application of epoxy blends there is a separate size of notch on each of three sides to give you 3mm, 4mm or 6mm beads as required. With a resilient flexibility, these reusable plastic spreaders (110mm x 110mm) make a quick job of ensuring an even depth of material is spread. 2 per pack.
Syringes
Graduated plastic syringes are useful to measure your small quantities accurately and for applying the adhesive to difficult to get at areas or holes. Supplied in two versions, 50ml graduated in 1ml divisions or 10ml graduated in 0.5ml divisions. Packs are 2 of a size or 1 of each size.
Barrier Cream
Protects against resins, oils, grease and petroleum spirits. This multi purpose barrier cream has a special bactericidal ingredient to minimise the risk of skin infection. 250ml.
Resin Removing Cream
Formulated to remove uncured epoxy from the skin in the event of accidental contamination 250ml.
Latex Gloves
Thin latex gloves allow you to work sensitively whilst protecting your hands.
