Festool Systainer Case
A much admired aspect of the Festool range of power tools, quite apart from their quality, is the carrying cases in which they are supplied. The Systainer case is really a clever storage system; designed to keep the contents safe and to make transportation a good deal easier. Made from a robust plastic with moulded-in ribs to further strengthen and reinforce the box. The lids are hinged at the rear and open a little past the vertical. When the box is closed a centrally positioned handle with large diameter circular section folds up for ease of carrying, even with the heaviest of loads. The top position means the contents should remain in the same place as they were put, rather than crashing to the back as they would if the grip were on the side. The neat trick is in the way the cases stack and clip together, so two or more boxes can be carried easily at once or, for the really extravagant, a tower of tool boxes can be safely wheeled to the site on sack trucks without the danger of toppling over. All boxes 395mm wide x 295mm deep front to back, available in four different heights.
