Axminster Heavy Duty Platform Stand

This heavy-duty aluminium platform is easy to put up just open the legs and lock the double braces in place. It folds flat for storage and transportation, down to 1,220 x 410 x 150mm and is very portable weighing in at only 14kg. Made of thick walled aluminium extrusion welded together or joined with steel bolts it is immensely strong able to support up to 115kg. Splayed legs and non-slip hard rubber feet assure stability. The anti-slip ribbed top surface measures 1,220mm long by 240mm wide. Height adjustment is quick and simple; the bench adjusts from 465mm to 765mm in 6 increments of 50mm each. The legs slide within channels and lock by means of spring-loaded steel rods that locate positively into holes in the sides of each channel. A step-up on each side makes mounting easier and provides a ledge on which to rest a sheet of board whilst arranging oneself into the correct position to lift the panel into place. When fixing ceiling boards adjust the height of the bench so that your head is close to the ceiling, in doing so it is possible to hold the board by gentle head pressure leaving both hands free to put in the first few fixings. Extension legs are available which give a greater height range from 870mm to 1,120mm; these include extra cross-braces, which also form an additional step-up.
