Jorgensen ISD Expandable Bar Clamp/Spreader

Have you ever wished you had a longer clamp? Jorgensen Expandable ISD clamps are unique. Double dovetails on the fixed jaws enable you to quickly, turn two shorter into one longer clamp. The resulting clamp is every bit as strong and powerful. In addition, these bar clamps offer increased clamping pressure over the original ISD™ bar clamp. The fixed jaw is reversible on the opposite end of the bar either to convert the clamp into a spreader or to join two clamps together. A simple thumbscrew secures the jaw, and an index pin ensures correct alignment
The single-handed operation makes clamping so much easier leaving the free hand to steady the work. The internal mechanism of the Jorgensen ISD clamp is much heavier duty compared to other makes with seven clutch plates and manufactured to closer tolerances. This precision engineering and specially shaped 19 x 6mm bar give these clamps consistent rigid performance. The pads are noticeably thicker, tough and non-marring with enough give to grip irregularly shaped work. The ergonomically designed handles feature non-slip inserts.
