Doesn't Last

About 2 1/2 years ago I bought one of these tools. I wanted a good tool so paid the extra and got the proxxon tool. When I first got it, it seemed to be a well engineered piece of kit, also it ran smoothly and at that time I was pleased. During the time I have owned the tool, I have only used it a few times for light duty. Yesterday I was using it, after about 3 minutes, there was a pop sound from the tool and smoke came out it. So, not much use, burnt out motor, and out of warranty! Save your money, in the long run Proxxon's not worth the cost.

The item arrived promptly, and I received an email and a test telling me the day and hour it would arrive. It arrived in that hour! The tool is a good example of quality German engineering. It is a pleasure using this!

First Class Tool

I use a scroll saw in my woodcraft workshop and require a small rotary tool to clean up edges, make tiny holes for the scroll saws and smooth out
small awkward angles in the projects. Quiet operation is important and precise finishing is paramount as second best will not do. This machine is all of
that and more. Extremely well made and typical of German engineering to a high standard of finish. I recommend this tool and also the flexi-feed accessory
which is also to the same high standard.

Superb bit of kit! and eats Dremels for breakfast

These are the Rolls Royce's of the Rotary tool world! superb build quality, no flimsy cheap plastics used here just nice solid alloy and glass fibre reinforced plastic, uses proper bearings and is so much quieter than a Dremel they are a pleasure to use...... get yourself the flexi shaft and you can do powercarving all day and it doesn't even get warm! try that on a Dremel and they soon have to cool down.
If your a true craftsman then buy a Proxxon if your just wanting to file your toenails then a Dremel will do or even Parkside .
