Quality issues

Originally bought March 2012, Axminster replaced in October 2012 and again in October 2013. This last replacement stopped working October 2014, but not eligible for replacement because out with the original 2 year warranty. It would be a great little gun with a good set of attachments if it was not prone to failure, so I cant even give it a good rating for features. We have not given it a hard life. Considering I have a cheap 1970's Black & Decker drill still going strong, I can only say 'they dont make them like they used to'.

Heat gun

This is really good for electronics, especialy heat shrink sleeving.

Just a perfect size, about 2/3 the size of the usual guns.

It also has a metal clip that attaches to the rear of the gun and lets it stand with the blower pointing upwards. This lets you use it whilst its sitting on the bench. It's also good for keeping the end melting anything you put it on as you use it .. not that I've ever done that ...

Highly recommended for electronics, light electrical work etc.
