Axminster Sieg KC6 CNC Lathe

This is a factory built CNC from the SIEG range, fully enclosed in a floor standing cabinet. Featuring the SIEMENS 802 control system, there is no need for a separate operating computer. The control system features automatic diagnosis and power cut-off protection. Equipped with high performance stepper motors with micro stepper drivers which provide high speed, efficiency and stable performance. The machine has an all cast iron bed construction mounted on a heavy gauge sheet metal stand housing the drivers and controllers, ventilated to ensure constant performance. Longitudinal and cross feeds are effected by ball leadscrews driven by the stepper motors. A 4 way rotating turret can house up to 4 cutting tools. The headstock spindle is amply powered by a 1000w motor with a speed range of 100-3000 rpm, and the spindle has a 3MT internal taper. A 125mm 3 jaw chuck is supplied as standard. The machine is fully mobile as the stand has braked castors, and the SIEMENS controller is mounted on its own rugged metal stand, again with braked castors. This is an accurate, well priced CNC lathe, well suited for small production runs or educational use. Comes equipped to run from a 13A socket. Supplied with manual, SIEMENS CD and leads.
