Stacey Davies, our in store demonstrator, always likes a challenge and, using the Axminster Trade Series EX-16 scroll saw, she will be making some attractive collapsible baskets.

The new UJK Technology OTORO compact palm router table is a unique and ingenious piece of equipment. It is perfect for model makers, dolls house builders and any craftsperson wishing to make smaller sized, precision components.
Our store demonstrator Talhah Rasool will show you just how versatile this router table is, with its three different modes, fine control edge preparation, width planning and the ability to mould small profiles.
It is designed to be used with a palm router: the Bosch GKF 600, Makita RT0700CX2 or DeWALT D26204K.The Bosch and DeWALT fit directly, the Makita uses an adaptor sleeve as supplied. Talhah will be using the Bosch model.

After attending one of our Skill Centre courses, Talhah is now a big fan of pen turning, realising that you can get fantastic results in such a short space of time. There are many different designs, the only limitation is the imagination.
This is very much a practical and inclusive demonstration, so why not come along and try your hand at pen turning. You never know, you may find yourself taking up this rewarding new hobby.

Paula will be using a variety of finishes to show the different results that can be achieved.
Pyrography has always been a popular event in the High Wycombe store. Our in-store demonstrator Chris Kirk will be using the Antex Fire Writer pyrography kit. For this demonstration, Chris will be trying something a bit different from his usual work, by designing and creating a selection of name plaques. These plaques make great gift ideas for the home.
This is an interactive demonstration during which visitors can try their hand at the art of pyrography.
At times it seems impossible to find just the right picture frame for that photo or painting off the shelf. The solution is to make your own and, more often than not, it is the frame that really enhances that photo or painting.
Using the Axcaliber MT1 mitre trimmer, our in store demonstrator Stacey Davies will take you through the different stages of creating the perfect picture frame for you. This can be a really rewarding hobby.
Our in-store demonstrator Andre May will be demonstrating just how easy it is with this jig to achieve the perfect joints for your kitchen worktops.
This one jig offers so much scope. It is capable of 45° and 90° left or right-hand joints in worktops. It enables you to make peninsular joints, corner radii of 40mm, 100mm, 90° square end cuts plus 45° and 22.5° angle cuts. In addition, there are facilities for cutting 35mm cabinet door hinge recesses (18mm carcase), a hole for tap fixings 35mm (3/4" BSP) and three slots for 65mm and 150mm joining bolts.

The Souber lock jig is fast becoming the preferred method for many tradespeople when fitting mortice locks. Our in store demonstrator Talhah Rasool will show you how to use it.
This jig makes the job quick and simple. With its self-centering clamp and milling operation, it is definitely a must-have tool when fitting doors.
But don't take our word for it, why not come along and have a go yourself under the guidance of Talhah.
Our in-store demonstrator Andre May will be showing you just how quick and easy it is to produce accurate carcases using the UJK Technology pocket hole joinery system.
The UJK pocket hole jig will easily produce strong hidden joints. The jig can be mounted on a bench or fitted with the portable plate and used with the clamp so that you take the jig to the work. It is perfect for furniture making, kitchen fitting and for strong frames and carcases. There is also a very useful extraction outlet so that you can attach a vacuum extractor to keep your work area clear.
Come along and see the pocket hole jig in action, and have a try before you buy.
