Store manager Phil Lewis will be demonstrating how to set up and use the incredibly versatile Fuji Spray System. This spray system is perfect for spraying cabinets, furniture, cars or pianos – in fact, anything wood or metal. It is a powerful, portable system for all types of finishes. With a chance to get hands-on and have some fun, this is a demonstration not to be missed.

Our in store expert Shaunie will be demonstrating the art of pyrography, showing you everything you need to know to get started in this rewarding and enjoyable hobby. Shaunie will demonstrate how to use the various accessories available and techniques required to make the most of this creative art. One thing is certain, you don't need a large workshop to enjoy this hobby - a small space or even the kitchen table will be adequate.

Phil Irons In Action With Woodcut Tools

Phil Irons is well known on both the UK and international woodturning scene.

He will be spending the day in store demonstrating tools from Woodcut, with whom he has a long association. His main focus will be on the Bowlsaver MAX3 - a tool which will enable you to get an increased output from a piece of wood. Phil will also be using Tru-Grind sharpening jigs and Pro-Forme hollowing tools.

By his own admission, Phil derives most pleasure and satisfaction from turning hollow forms. He has created some beautiful vases and incredible one-off masterpieces.

Phil also enjoys teaching and offers a number of courses at his workshop in Welford-on-Avon, Warwickshire. Courses range from beginners’ hobby level classes to the more advanced master classes on the lathe.
