In Detail

Titebond II aliphatic resin passes the strict American ANSI Type 2 specifications for water resistance. It works well on all exterior woodworking projects including outdoor furniture, birdhouses, planters and picnic tables. Titebond II Premium provides a strong initial tack, fast setting speed, superior strength and excellent sandability. It is also FDA approved for indirect food contact (cutting boards and laminate trim). Titebond II is easy to use, non-toxic, weatherproof and cleans up with water whilst wet.

Titebond II Premium wood glue has been independently tested for lead, cadmium and other metals under ASTM F963 and 16 CFR 1303 (total lead content). These are the testing methods specified for toy safety under the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. It has also been reviewed by an independent toxicologist and conforms to ASTM D4236 for art and craft materials.

Titebond II wood Glue

Good strong glue but can cause blue black stains on oak especially if the glue comes into contact with metal cramps and the oak. I always make sure the clamp is not in contact with both wood and glue. I have used a tape on the clamps to form a barrier.

recomended

Great applicator
strong, stable, fast drying compared to plain PVA. As it costs more you tend to be a little more careful with use.

Great with biscuits

Used this glue on a cabinet building project a couple of weekends ago. I found it to be very good, hardens quite quickly and was a delight to use with the well designed application nozzle. Worked well with the biscuit joints.

Great

I think I prefer titebond ii out of the three, it dries the hardest and is happy on interior and exterior work and is food safe, works well on laminations due to its resin/PVA makeup.

Do not let it contact your clamps

Great strong glue. Do be carefull however to not allow the glue to get on your tools, saw table or clamps. It can corrode these quite heavily.
