The fact that Trend offer these for sale says little for their buying/QA process. They are not fit for purpose. The clips are ridiculously fiddly and once you've won the battle to get the defenders attached they don't have any adjustment so they either fit adequately or they don't. For me, they hover away from my ears and serve no useful purpose.

I'll err a little more on the generous side and give these 2 stars because they do seem to work once they're in place - but getting them in place is another matter. I entirely share the frustration of the previous reviewer. The clips that attach them to the helmet are over-engineered, fiddly and of poor quality to boot - a designer's delight and a user's nightmare! Why i the name of all that's sensible do there need to be three parts to the clip? Surely there are enough clip-on devices already on the market for there to be no need to design a completely new type of fastening? It's hardly brain surgery, is it? The worst of it is that because the deslign of the Airshield Pro itself effectively prohibits the use of ordinary air defenders you really need a set of these to go with it (so why not just build them in in the first place?) The poor design of the clips sadly detracts from the unit for which the defenders are designed and I would strongly advise Trend to address the issue as a matter of urgency.

Best thing to do is carefully unwrap these and then throw them straight in the bin, saving you hours of trying to get them to fit.
I can’t believe Trend make something that is totally useless.
