Why Not a Matched Set?

For doing inlay work using a single template with a router guide bushing, the added collar allows the inlay piece to be cut to fit the machined pocket exactly. To accomplish this, however, the wall thickness of the collar must match the router bit diameter precisely or else the inlay will be either too big to fit or too small, thus leaving gaps. Since this is a precision operation, why not have matched collars and bits in a set? One has to search the site to find a 3.2mm router bit (Proxxon) to match the collar (Trend) and, since they are manufactured by different companies, who knows if they will truly match?
