A very useful pair of clamps for attaching a wooden sub-fence to your circular saw or bandsaw.
The clever design allows you to drill an 8.5mm hole in the top of your fence and the clamp holds the fence securely in place leaving the face free from obstruction. The unique clamping action could be useful for many other jig type applications where the top surface needs to be free from obstructions.

A simple design well executedI bought a pair of these for holding my home-built circular saw fence in place and, as soon as they arrived, I went back for another pair. They're beautifully made and finished and are useful for so many tasks – I find them really handy for holding router templates and jigs in place. They're great value too.

Excellent valueExcellent value for money and a nice surprise to see how larger capacity they are, this is handy because thy screw in and out of the body itself getting the end of the clamp out the way which wouldn't happen with other clamp designs as the overall length doesn't change. They also produce quite a surprising amount of torque!

VersatilityI bought these to try out for fixing a bench stop on a 50mm thick assembly table. Perfect! Well made, capable of accepting up to about 125mm between the clamp head and the 8mm clamping bar - the details don't make it clear but the clamping bar screws out of the anodised body giving greater adjustability. If you only need to cope with up to 50mm-ish then the plain Axminster brand clamps are a quarter of the price and also well made.
