Woodcut Pro-Forme Slight Bent Shaft
Compliment your kit with a choice of shafts - as well as the straight shaft supplied in the Starter Kit, you can also use the bent and slight bent shafts to get in closer to your work. These bent shafts are designed for working under the shoulder of the workpiece when gaining entry via a smaller opening, or with a reverse curve shape, when a straight tool is limited.
Woodcut Pro-Forme Flexi Hollower (unhandled)
If smaller hollow forms are your thing, then the Pro-Forme Flexi Hollower is the tool for you. With straight and curved links, the articulated head is perfect for small to medium size projects with depths of no more than 6 to 8 inches.
Perfect for the narrowest of holes, with a 12.7mm (1/2") diameter shaft and step-free linkages, turning narrow entry hollow forms is easy.
The flexi hollower is supplied with two links made from high tensile steel to maximise rigidity.

What do you do when your handle is not long enough? Double it up of course! Combine the spigot handle with the handle in your Starter Kit and extend its length, your turning capabilities, and take on larger projects with the extra long handle.
The Woodcut Tools Pro-Forme hollowing system is one of the finest free-hand hollowing tools on the market. It has a hardened M2 high speed steel cutter that is open on the side to prevent clogging, which is common with other end grain/hollowing tools. Its adjustable safety gauge determines the depth of cut and prevents dig-ins. Each cutter is both re-sharpenable using a diamond file and replaceable to ensure a long working life from these tools.
The straight shaft is the most frequently used tool, it will produce the opening and remove the wood down the sides and across the bottom of the vessel.
The 20" (508mm) spigot handle has a comfortable cushioned grip for long periods at the lathe and two handles (sold separately) can be fitted together for extra length if required. The Woodcut Tools Pro-Forme is designed to hollow both side and end grain on green or dry wood. However, for an optimal hollowing experience, Woodcut Tools recommends the cutter is regularly sharpened and green wood is used. For guidelines on how to sharpen the cutter please refer to page 6 of the User Manual available for download, below.
