In Detail

The SK80 Type C screw chuck is a convenient method for mounting a turning blank onto the lathe without having to remove the chuck. The stepped mounting plate locates securely into the recess of SK80 internal grip. The screw is stainless steel with a deep sharp thread for a positive and secure hold. It only requires the drilling of a shallow hole in the blank. Using this method means the inside and outside of the finished bowl must be concentric.

A replacement screws are available.

N.B. The finish may be either silver or black due to changes in legislation regarding passive zinc plating.
