I didn't realise just how useful this stuff is ...

I bought a tin of this a couple of years ago (and have still not emptied the tin) to use on some small woodworking machines I have and yes it was OK and is certainly worth using but nothing to write a song about - keeping surfaces clean and polished works nearly as well. But last week for the first time I used it on some hand tools I'd been cleaning; in particular mitre gauges, bevels and the like ... what a difference! I may be describing old news but if like me you work alone and are largely self taught (school woodworking 40 years ago doesn't count!) then its possible you may not have heard of this stuff or if you have had not considered using it on hand tools. Well it's brill and I will certainly be buying a new tin when the current one is empty.
