Totally inadequate for the work it claims to be able to perform.

This tool performs wonderfully initially, but after about half an hour roughing- out a limewood sculpture, the tool began to overheat. In spite of only having been used a few times since, the overheating now occurs within a few minutes of starting to use, and is accompanied by a strong odour of scorching insulation. Clearly, it has reached the end of its working life after perhaps a total of at most six hours of use in divided episodes, and is now dangerous to use and fit only for the dustbin. This item has proved to be unfit for purpose, is basically rubbish, and a complete waste of money at any price. I would recommend its removal from the Axminster Tools and Machinery catalogue.

Arbotech reply
The overheating could be due to constant use without resting the machine. If the machine gets hot should allow it to cool down 15-30 Minutes.

Also the grinder being of a slim type is more comfortable but will warm up quicker than the normal bulky size grinder.

Also the user should regularly follow direction to lubricate the cam with oil supplied to avoid overheating and damage to the chisel.

So disappointedly

The power chisel looks so good And for half an hour it was. I was work on an oak log removing and shaping it was terrific. Then sparks began to come . The chisel piece wouldn't remove from the power drill. On inspection the soft steel of the drill , which came with the drill, was worn out and flattened at the top. The mechanism is clever. The soft steel is unworthy of the drill.
A toy.
