Short life bits

Bought 2 of these several months ago. Used in a router table fitted to a trend tk11 ( trend 1/4” collet) set at high rpm to cut a groove for the drawer box bottom panel. Groove was 5mm deep and cut in two passes. Both router bits sheared off just above the shaft within a short space of time. The wood was guided with feather boards to maintain pressure against the fence and fed slowly. I noticed the groove had sawtooth edges and there seemed to more vibration than usual. The sound of the router bit changed just before it sheared off. Fortunately I had another old 6.35mm bit from a different manufacturer and that cut without any issues to complete the job. So unless there is something significant out of alignment with the router, I suspect the two router bits had some sort of inherent defect. I probably wouldn’t buy these again.
