Good but expensive

These work well for me in Aluminium or Plastic. A good spray of cutting fluid improves their performance on metal and should reduce wear.
They don't have flats on the shafts so you need to do the chuck up really tight for large holes - may be a challenge with some keyless chucks.
My concern is that while these drill upto 30mm compared to the hex shafted version which only goes up to 20 mm these are 4 times the price. If you are going to use them a lot it is probably better to buy a set of the hex shafted ones for the smaller sizes and use this for the > 20mm. I can't see a way to sharpen them so treat them as disposable.
