In Detail

This neat little gauge is precision CNC machined from a solid billet of aluminium and has a black anodised finish. It combines the dual dovetail slopes of 1:5 (soft wood) as well as 1:8 (hardwood), and each has been clearly marked with a white finish. A very useful feature is an engineer’s corner at the bottom of each slope, ensuring that a sharp pencil is able to reach right into the intersection; the underside is also relieved to ensure flush seating even over saw whiskers. A graduated imperial measurement scale has also been etched onto each of the blades, which is a useful aid when setting out.
