Part of the long Hole System

I purchased the Boring Head to go with the rest of the Axminster Long Hole Boring System which I have to say is first class but this cutter let's it down. The cutter fits onto the Morse taper center to allow you to produce mortise and tenon in joining multi pieces of wood wood and is also made to form the recess for lamp fittings. Unfortunately is of the wrong size to accommodate the lamp fittings which is a real pain as it is almost impossible to re-center a cutter after the recess has been formed. Be careful if you intend to use the Boring Head to form a lamp fitment recess as it cuts too small. The lamp fittings I use are provided by Axminster !!!
