Good for Jigs

Clamps are good quality and robust. I needed longer bolts for a mortising jig but am working in metric. ( The nuts supplied are not compatible with metric threaded bar or bolts, seems like a 9.5 mm). 10 mm Nuts are too wide and too fat to fit the center slot and a lot of work to grind them down. I eventually ground some of the thread off a 10 mm threaded bar and "coaxed" the supplied nut on; it works but not optimum solution. I had already drilled my 10 mm holes so didn't want to use a smaller rod. 8mm rod and nuts with a washer will work well in the center slot. Hope this saves somebody some time.

Brought two for a mortise jig for my router. Very sturdy and useful. Only one issue - the slot for a bolt/nut (not visible in the image provided) is not quite wide enough to take a standard nut; had to file the nuts to get them to fit.
