In Detail

A polishing mop arbor available for the Precision Pro lathe with a 12mm parallel shank to enable it to be mounted in the collet chuck attached to the lathe spindle. A 12-11mm collet is required, 910214. A tapered thread is machined on the other end for mounting a polishing mop. A hollow recess is provided at the tip so that the tailstock can be brought up to keep the arbor securely in place. The mop can be loaded with the appropriate polishing compound for putting that final gloss finish on your work. Be sure to remove the tool rest before doing any polishing work. Can be used in a 13mm drill chuck and a 3 jaw or 4 jaw lathe chuck. Details of suitable polishing mops and compounds can be found in the Sharpening, Grinding and Polishing section.
