This is a twin drum finishing sander is intended for small workshops where the finishing of boards, panels and frames is regularly carried out.

Made from sheet steel with cast iron frames supporting the conveyor table, this sander has a compact footprint. The sanding rollers are made from aluminium extrusion, machined and dynamically balanced for smooth running. The abrasive material is quite easy to change, requiring no tools. The access lid has a safety interlock switch and has twin 102mm dust outlet ports. Dust extraction is vital to the finish of your work, we recommend the use of a 1.5kW fine dust extractor as a minimum. The drums are powered by a 2.2kW 230V 1 phase motor, with twin belt drive. A separate variable speed motor drives the conveyor, giving a wide range of feed speeds suitable for most tasks.

Adjustment of the work thickness is via a convenient crank handle, with a scale indicating the thickness value.
Being a twin drum machine, you use different grades of abrasives on each drum, coarse on the front, fine on the rear. You will need to adjust the rear roller depending on the abrasive being used, this is done with the provided hex key. A graduated scale for each side makes accurate setting an easy task.

N.B. These sanders are used for the final finishing process, they are not intended to be used as a thicknesser or with coarse abrasives for significant stock removal. In all instances, they are intended to be used with planed and thicknessed materials.
