A tempered steel band maintains an even clamping pressure on the workpiece. The band passes through four aluminium corner brackets. Their internal corners have self-aligning plastic jaw faces for use on non-square work. The plastic jaws are removable when clamping square or rectangular work. A large handle with a screw thread applies the required pressure. By removing the aluminium corner pieces entirely, you can clamp oval, circular or coopered work. For use on frames 65 mm to 915 mm square.

Hard WorkJust received this morning. I have not had a chance to use it yet and will update later. However my first impressions are disappointed. This looks like a cheap Far East copy of the Bessey band clamp. It is difficult to adjust due to the cheap build quality. The steel band is very narrow and may mark when used to clamp Round items so make sure you protect the work piece. It is really hard to get band expanded as the band reel keeps jamming up and the internal spring nearly takes you finger off. Maybe it will be better after some use. My advise is to spend a little extra and get a genuine Bessey version.
