Good quality edging shears

Just received and tested these shears. They are heavy duty compared with the others that I found in the DIY stores, they immediately look and feel a top quality tool. They dealt well with my lawn (150 m2) edges and although heavy were not tiring to use. There is a robust and comfortable feel about them when cutting and closing the blades. The blades are sharp and will cut cleanly through a single A4 sheet of paper. Compared to other shears I tested the blades don't open very far and the handles are wider apart when closed but I soon got use to these features. When the blades are fully open the upper one strikes against a plastic end cap on the bottom of the left handle. I'm wondering how long this plastic cap will last it seems a weak design, the cost of these shears should really include a design that gives metal to metal contact. Apart from this possible negative I did like the coated blades with lockable adjustment so they should be reliable if properly maintained.
The home delivery was fast with good commsunications - this part was 5star.
