Works well.

We have this, the dewalt and the makita m class extractors in our workshop. The Bosch is the cheapest of the three.
It functions every bit as well as the others. Is powerful and good build quality and the filter clearing works (but is wry noisy).
There is a lack of hose adapters to attach to different power tools so these need to bought separately which is a bit anoying.

I do a lot of re pointing and always use dust extraction when removing mortar, so you can imagine i need something that can consume a lot of fine dust!! and I've tried so many different machines out on the market and have had to send them back clogged and not living up to the manufactures promises with bigger motors and filters than the Bosch Gas 55m AFC that i purchased.
I was using Nilfisk machines Alto 5 Extreme Clean and it works brilliant!!! BUT getting hold of parts and filters and the fact that they discontinued these models i had to find an alternative and what with all the others i had tried nothing even came close even the other big well known international companies specialist vacuums.
But so far even with a slightly under powered motor to what I'm used to and less turbine gut thrust it is doing a great job I've only had it for a few days, but most only last a few minutes,
I hope this helps anyone else looking for a GOOD dust extractor
