The Bosch GBH18V-EC SDS+ hammer drill combines truly high performance with reliability, lightweight design and superior handling. With a fully charged 4.0Ah battery, it will drill over a 150 6mm x 40mm holes. The drill offers three options: hammer drilling for masonry or concrete, rotary drilling for wood or steel and hammer only for chiselling. The VariLock feature allows you to change the angle of the chisel for the best approach to the work. It has the highest chiselling removal rate (12 kg/hour) in its class.
The highly efficient brushless EC motor enhances the performance by extending the battery run time for any given charge. The brushless EC motor is compact, maintenance-free and fully dust-protected. The Lithium-ion CoolPack battery uses efficient cooling technology to prevent battery heat damage, resulting in a longer run time and longer lifetime compared with standard Li-ion batteries. Bosch Electronic Cell Protection (ECP) protects the battery against overload, overheating and deep discharge.
Even with the battery fitted the entire unit weighs only 2.6 kg. This and the overall compact design make the GBH18V-EC a very comfortable and manageable unit, even when used for an extended period.
