Great productFinding it hard to understand the review saying it's not gloss at all, I'm assuming they bought and reviewed the wrong product! Apply 2-3 thin coats of acrylic sealer first and this product can give a glass-like finish - looked stunning on piece of turned wild mango!! I was stunned, the customer was over the moon with it :) Definitely recommend. If your only option is a brush or this, this is the obvious choice, good even coating, hard to reach areas, quick drying time. Can be a bit costly though, can go through a can quickly and at £8 per can costs can start to mount up a little.

Quality product, excellent finishI bought two cans of the satin finish for a batch of handles I had made for a customer, applied a sealer to the pine and a light sand, second coat and a light sand, third coat and a beautiful satin finish was achieved. Customer very happy with the product, I'm very happy with the finish and will be using it again.

Quality PoorThis product will not give a gloss finish at all , it dries unevenly and is a complete waist of time when used on American White Oak, even with the required preparation.

Acrylic Satin Spray LacquerI usually use Sanding Sealer and wax as a finish for boxes. Padauk has a colour bleed problem into lighter woods using this method. This product has completely overcome the problem and provides an excellent satin finish. Once dry there are no finger print problems with it, as there are with a wax finish. Drys quickly, coats well and evenly.
