Almost a great pen

I've been searching for a higher end looking pen, and this does look the business. But I've had one with a clip with a really sharp burr (not good) and I'm unsure about the length of the brass insert near the nib...I think it needs to be longer, but I'm no expert...awaiting advice from Axy on this matter. It's a nice looking pen though, a great feel to it and depending on the outcome of the issues above, I may add this pen to my craft fair collection.

Good elegant pen

The small metal end cap leaves more room for interesting and more comfortable barrels (I put a spreading end on the nib end), such as rings etc. And it looks good - again a fatter barrel tends to be more comfortable I think. The refill is good but very standard (888).

Excellent starter

I've made quite a few of these as do many people really like writing with them. Very easy to make so good for beginners. Don't be afraid yo escorting the with shapes, I regularly make a quite fast torpedo. Looks good even with fairly plain timber. The chrome looks classier in my opinion. Good quality, good value.

Excellent beginner's piece

A real easy-to-make, but fantastic looking pen. Single-piece, so you can't go wrong. It writes perfectly too, shall be making a few more of these I think!
