Crown thread chasers are designed for the hand cutting of male and female threads in hardwoods. As with all Crown tools they are supplied with attractive hardwood handles. Sold as a matched pair, male and female, 18tpi. Handles are 5"(125mm) long.

Should have researched!

I fancied the idea of threading some turned boxes, but should have done more homework! these are apparently normally offered with other 'tools' such as the guide bar to assist female thread cutting and a thread guage?
Not sure why Axminster don't show these pieces of the kit.
Anyway I'll persevere and hopefully master the art of wood thread cutting, even if it eventually means either making said guide bar.

The reason i marked Features low was there aren't any!! the tools look/feel well made.
