Lovely bit of kit

Really nice hammer to use. The only reason for down-marking it is that it has two nail heads which are proud and sometimes it annoys me that the end of the handle isn't smooth. I can see that these hold the metal plate on, which in turn probably holds all the handle together, but design it another way please Eastwing.
It is expensive but is a joy to use. I gave it 4 stars on value to start with but it is a piece of art and that gives you joy in your work and that in turn gives your work a sense of art, even if it is simply nailing a fence post on.

It's just a hammer?

A hammer is just a hammer, right, a lump of metal on a stick.

Maybe so, but I tell you, these Estwing hammers are amazing. You wouldn't believe how one hammer can seem so much better than others. I had a Stanley antivibe hammer, which cost nearly as much as one of these, but just seemed to be dud. never had so many miss-hits and bent nails in my life. I used a colleague's Estwing and it just felt "right". So I bought one myself. I swear every time I use it I think "that's a bloody good tool". A joy to use.

I know they seem expensive but absolutely worth every penny.
