In Detail

There is something special about receiving a handmade gift and these blanks could help you produce some stunning looking pens. We have carefully chosen a range of colours that we think will be most appealing to pen turners and recipients alike. The material is easy to turn and finishes to a glass like surface. We recommend the use of Micro-Mesh abrasives, used wet for finishing our polyester and acrylic pen blanks. 150 x 16 x 16mm.

Crushed Ice acrylic pen blanks

These blanks produce a beautiful pen, although a bit on the small side when compared to the mesh pen blanks, so reasonably accurate drilling is required. Also you might want to paint the tubes white when using the blue and pink blanks because the brass does show through, but they are well worth a try. I used Gold Streamline kits on the three blanks with a hint of gold and Chrome Comfort without the rubber end on the other three, they all look terrific and very acceptable gifts for friends and family.
