In Detail

Festool 3 Year Warranty (Registration Required)

Introducing the TS55R, the next step on from the well known TS55, with even more features. This saw has the ability to cut a standard 12mm against a wall thanks to its flush housing, there is a fine adjuster for the plunge and the blade now has an undercut of -1° - 47° for even greater accuracy. Dust extraction has been improved and an adjustable viewing window ensures you can see the saw blade during use. These saws have the spring-loaded pivoting plunge action that combines with a super-fast blade brake to give fast, accurate and, above all, safe cutting performance. Best used with the Festool FS guide rail system, to process sheet materials of all types with ease and accuracy. The features of this saw are seemingly endless. The 1,200W soft start motor has full electronic control to keep speed constant and monitor the motor allowing the optimum cutting speed for the material being cut, regardless of load. The clear window on the side allows you to see the blade, and markers indicate front and rear cutting points of blade at full depth, useful when cutting out apertures with the guide rail. The cut line stays constant in relation to the base, regardless of blade angle. Other features include: rotating dust outlet for the most convenient position and FastFix blade changing system.

Supplied complete with anti-splinter guard, 48T TCT blade, anti-splinter device and Festool Systainer SYS 4 T-LOC stacking storage case with inlay.

Festool TS 55R EBQ-PLUS

If you are looking for a tool for accurately breaking down sheet materials (mdf, plywood, mfc etc.) accurately then this is it!
Reliable, precise, good dust extraction and does everything I ever ask of it.

Must Buy for all Joiners.

I am a kitchen fitter/ General joiner and this saw has completely changed our work. i usually buy dewalt tools but have converted to festool after buying this machine, every job from Aqua panel, plywood kitchen end panels etc. Best tool i have ever brought. Axminster were fantastic to deal with as usual. Top marks.

What a time saver!

As good as they say it is! Apart from all the usual stuff - long mitres, cross cutting etc, one of the things that sets this system apart is how little you can take off with it. Working on some multi-angled cabinets for a client, I needed to scribe a 2m x 200 mitered panel to a wall and, once scribed, was 2mm over - no problem - just lay it back down set the guide rail and do a new rip. Perfect result! It's like having a compound mitre saw for whole panels :)

Quite Marvellous

I have resisted buying Festool for years, but bit the bullet and cannot believe what I have been missing; It simply is a fantastic machine and the cut quality and accuracy is beyond question. I am now a complete convert. Fantastic for use on panels and wider boards, but take care on smaller, narrower items.

Very good!

I have been woodworking all my life. Since I was 7 years of age; my grandad putting on a wood turning video. My brother was fast asleep at the time at the sight of it. But I was glue to it. Now I have a garage where I do all my work. My tool list is from family and friends handme downs. I would go in one day, cutting a 500mm plywood with a hand saw. I was out of breath!!
So now I go in their with my festool tracks and do it in under one minute.
It great !!!
