In Detail

The Flexcut Drawknife has 125mm(5") of workable edge and is designed to flex around contours where large amounts of stock need to be removed. It can be curved to accommodate concave or convex curves, allowing it to conform more closely to the required contour. Just the job for chair legs, chair bottoms or roughing out decoys. A bit limited!

I found the tool well finished and nice and sharp straight away. Here's the 'but' I found the blade rather flimsy and too flexible for use with anything more than close grained soft woods. Forget it if you want to use it for roughing out or on oak etc, it just won't do it! If on the other hand you wish to work with hemlock or birch and only wish to take fine shavings, its fine. Overall I would say its not worth the price and I will be treating myself to a Veritas or Lee Neilson for heavier work.
